Our Mission Statement: To promote excellence in volunteer management, provide the opportunity for idea exchange, encourage professional development, and advocate for volunteer leadership in Southwest Washington.
Congratulations to John Krejcha, Program Director for Autism Empowerment! He is our 2017 Anne Turner Award Winner for Excellence in Volunteer Management. The Anne Turner Award for Excellence in Volunteer Management is in honor of a true Clark County volunteer advocate. In addition to years as a DVPA Executive Board member, Anne served on numerous planning committees both local and national, actively promoting and supporting volunteerism. Anne’s tireless dedication brought awareness and enrichment to our community. This award is dedicated to honor current DVPA members that continue her legacy. Anne's grandson made the announcement and introduction. Also Anne's daughters, Angie and Jennifer were present for the awards along with many other community representatives from various non-profits. Four other AE Board Members were in attendance to help celebrate, including Sara Wilber, Gary Borghello, Tara O'Gorman & Karen Krejcha. John has put in over 10,000 volunteer hours with AE over the past 6 years and has been an instrumental part of programs like Autism Serves Kids Care Club, Spectrums Magazine and a wide range of special events! Congratulations to a wonderful leader, father and community advocate!
