Anne Turner Award Recipients
The Anne Turner Award for excellence in Volunteer Management is in honor of a true Clark County volunteer advocate. In addition to years as a DVPA Executive Board member, Anne served on numerous planning committees both local and national, actively promoting and supporting volunteerism. Anne’s tireless dedication brought awareness and enrichment to our community. We dedicate this award to honor current DVPA members that continue her legacy.

2010: Lisa Beranek, StreamTeam
Summary of nomination: Lisa Beranek has a passion for volunteerism. She plans projects throughout the county in all sorts of weather and even on the weekends. In addition to her program's salmon saving environmental activities, she finds creative ways to educate through films, fairs, literary and art contests. She also plays an active role in the DVPA from serving on the board and promoting the assocaition to designing and maintaining the DVPA website and Facebook page. She is conscientious and loans out reusable items in the interest of the environment for the success of other community events.
